Hyundai Eon

Hyundai EON Cars India, Hyundai EON Price, Reviews, Photos

Hyundai is one of the biggest car makers in the world in terms of the number of vehicles it rolls out every year. At the same time this Korean car maker which is headquartered in Seoul in South Korea is one of the fastest growing car makers in the world. Another feather in the cap of Hyundai is the fact that it has got the biggest auto manufacturing facility in Ulsan.

The iconic car maker is now launching a new small compact car in the emerging markets such as India called Hyundai Eon. Hyundai New Eon is a hatchback that is poised to take the small car segment by storm. This five door sub compact car is produced by the South Korean car icon Hyundai. Hyundai has achieved the second spot when it comes to car makers in India. It is only behind Maruti. Huyndai Eon is aimed at those people who are looking to buy a car for the first time. This is the reason why the car comes in a small form. The Hyundai Eon Mileage for the City is 18.0 kmpl and 22.0 kmpl on the Highway sporting an 814cc engine with a top speed of 135 kmpl.

Hyundai India had seen a great growth in the market with the launch of the highly successful Santro. This small car had taken Hyundai from being just another car maker to the second largest car maker in India. Hyundai Eon is also expected to recreate the magic of Santro in its new avatar. There are a number of similarities between Santro and Eon produced by Hyundai. The launch of Santro had decreased the gap between Maruti and Hyundai. However there is still a long way to go for Hyundai in order to be able to take on Maruti which is unarguably the market leader with a huge leap forward.

Hyundai India increases car prices by up to Rs 5000 from November 2012. Hyundai Eon Price begins at R 2.69 lakh. Hyundai wants to tap into the car market share with the entry level buyers who are looking for their first car. The segment it wants to target is the one in which the buyers are cost conscious and are looking for value for money. At the same time, the market is flooded with a number of options for the entry level buyers which is going to give a tough time to the South Korean car maker. But keeping in mind the success of Santro, we believe Hyundai will succeed in its plans to increase the cars on the road with Hyundai’s logo on them. Maruti Cervo which is launching soon to rival the Eon.

The Eon Hyundai does have a number of positive aspects that look very promising for it to become a market leader in its segment.

Of course Hyundai cars are good in mechanisim but problem is only maintenance of vehicle after sale. It is little costly compre to Maruti. People are very much interested in the product of Hyundai but due to costly maintenance after sale is keeping them away from the products. Please make some arrangements to provide after sale service maintenance at a lower cost.

Thanks a lot for launching small products for the middle class customers in India

This car is not going to fight with ALTO as dealers of Hundai doesn’t willing to sell this car. Myself had been refused from booking of this car only because of RTO registration charges. The cheque I had send for booking had been returned on counter.
